Sinking
Azia Anderson

Sinking
I am no longer afloat
Anchored to the ocean bottom

How did I get here?
Am I burning?
Water fills my lungs

Oxygen was stolen
In return, I got water
I can't survive much longer

Fair is what this is not
Darkness is calling me
Death awaits me

Sinking
I am no longer afloat
Anchored to the ocean bottom
